Hello Dogamers!
Welcome to the DOGA HOUSE app overview! In the new simplified version you’ll be able to interact with and add GAP accessories to your Dogamí whenever you want in order to earn your $DOGA rewards.
With the integration of a new server, players will first need to change their password via their gaming accounts on the DOGAMÍ marketplace before they can take care of their true virtual companion. If you’ve already done that, feel free to skip this section.
To play the game, you must first log in. Enter the email address that you saved in the My Gaming Account section of the marketplace and your password. Your Dogamí are waiting patiently and they want to play! 🐶
Once you’re logged in, you’ll see the Dog switcher UI. At the bottom of the screen, you’ll see your Dogamí in your wallet (the one that’s connected to your gaming account).
Note: You can only connect 1 wallet to your gaming account. If you have any other Dogamí in any other wallets and you’d like to play with them, you’ll have to transfer them to the new wallet.
Look through your Dogamí by scrolling left and right. You can see a preview of your Dogamí in 3D at the top of the UI.
You can tap on your chosen Dogamí to teleport them into the DOGA house or alternatively, if you have GAP accessories, you can equip your Dogamí with them. This will be covered in a later section in this article.
As you can see, we’ve teleported a French bulldog into the DOGA House. She’s waiting patiently for you to take care of her — what a good girl!
To move around the DOGA House, players simply need to swipe left or right or tap on one of the 5 needs at the bottom of the screen to go to a specific part of the environment to complete that activity.
How do I earn $DOGA?
In order to earn $DOGA, players must complete 1 of the 5 proposed actions for each of their Dogamí each day. $DOGA airdrops occur on a weekly basis (each Tuesday) and are tied to the Dogamí’s rarity, the number of Dogamí and the number of completed activities in a week.
The activities are (from left to right).
- Toilet training
- Playing
- Petting
- Feeding/nurturing
- Cleaning
To do an activity, players simply need to tap on one of the icons. They will then be taken to the portion of the environment in which they’ll complete that activity.
The feeding/nurturing need has been selected. Our French Bulldog has gone to the corresponding portion of the DOGA House map
Once you’ve selected the need you want complete, a menu will appear. You may choose which consumable you want to give your Dogamí.
Once you’ve completed the chosen need, an icon will appear in the top left-hand corner to let you know you’ve dealt with that particular need.
Now you have completed the 1 required activity for that day and that specific Dogamí.
If you have more than 1 Dogamí, you must take care of them too! To teleport another Dogamí into the game, players will simply need to hit the Dogamí switcher button in the top left-hand corner to go back to that specific menu:
This will take you back the main selection screen.
A notification ‘cup’ icon appears in the top-right hand corner of each Dogamí to indicate that the needs are completed for that day.
Simply tap on another Dogamí to then teleport them into the game again and repeat the process!
GAP ACCESSORIES
It is now possible to equip your Dogamí with GAP accessories! If you don’t have any yet, you can pick one up here.
Equipping your Dogamí with GAP accessories enables you to get daily rewards bonus. The bonus depends on the rarity of your Dogamí (bronze, silver, gold or diamond) but also on the rarity of your accessory:
- 🟦 +2% for a “rare” accessory
- 🟪 +7% for an “epic” accessory
- 🟧 +11% for a “legendary” accessory
- 🟥+23% for an “artefact” accessory
GAP accessories that you have on your wallet are accessible from the UI here:
They are divided into 4 slots: Head, body, bag, and dog house.
You can equip your dog with up to 4 accessories simultaneously providing they are not in the same slot. For example, you cannot put 2 head accessories on at the same time.
Tap on the corresponding slot depending on the accessories you have.
A further menu will appear will all the head accessories you have in your wallet.
Scroll up and down on that menu if you have many of them. Tap the accessory to equip your Dogamí with it.
To add a second accessory, tap the body icon (the hoodie logo). This menu will appear. Select whichever accessory you want. Here a GAP hoodie has been selected:
A 3D preview of your Dogamí will be available in the UI:
Now simply tap again on your Dogamí to teleport them into the DOGA House.
In order to get a daily bonus, you Dogamí must be equipped before you’ve completed your chosen activity for that day.
Here are a couple of examples to help solidify your understanding.
Example 1
I have 3 Dogamí, (1 bronze, 1 silver, and 1 diamond) and 2 “rare” GAP accessories (1 bucket hat, and 1 varsity jacket). Before I do my daily tasks, I equip 1 bronze Dogamí with a rare bucket hat and my diamond Dogamí with a rare varsity jacket. I do my daily activities for each Dogamí:
- The bronze Dogamí will get a +2% of the bronze daily rewards
- The diamond Dogamí will also get +2% of the diamond daily rewards
The silver Dogamí (not equipped with anything, gets the regular daily awards) The accessories have now been used up for the day. I cannot use the accessories again to get other bonuses by equipping the silver Dogamí with one of my accessories.
Example 2
I have 1 gold Dogamí and 4 GAP accessories:
- 1 Rare 5-panel cap
- 1 Epic Varsity Jacket,
- 1 Legendary Belt bag
1 Artefact bed = one for each slot (of which there are 4): head, body, back, and dog house. I equip my Dogamí with all 4 accessories and do 1 daily activity. I receive a bonus of 43% of my daily gold rewards added to my regular awards thanks to my GAP accessories.
⚠️I cannot use them again for the day on another Dogamí.
