Hello dogamers! Today we’re inviting you into our Paris Office where our Co-founder and Creative Director Kristofer Dayne Penseyres will show you a couple of sneak peeks from DOGAMÍ Academy.
⚠️Spoiler alert — you’ll discover one of our races in its development stage, a training session, and a prototype of our first iteration of “Adventure mode” which gives you total freedom and interaction with your Dogamí.
ARTISTIC DIRECTION 👨🎨
In this sneak peek video, you’ll meet Gregory Magadoux, our Artistic director — a true veteran with 20 years of experience in the gaming industry. He’ll present some of the concept artwork and research the team is currently working on, as well as the DOGAMÍ Comic book.
LET’S RACE ⚡️
Kris goes on to present the racing prototype in DOGAMÍ Academy. Whilst this version you’ll see does not include many of the elements of what will be included in the MVP, it will give you a sense of what is to come.🔥 More visual effects, a sense of momentum, and interaction will be included from the release date.
USER EXPERIENCE 📱
Meet Benjamin Vadot, our senior UX/UI designer. As we transition from landscape to portrait mode, he’s concentrating his efforts on transcribing the game design of DOGAMÍ Academy in terms of UX in the smoothest way possible by implementing the best practices, having the right balance of information, and by managing the right touch zones for players in-game.
FREE ROAMING ZONE PROTOTYPE 🤯
Our lead technical artist Christophe Hamel (an OG in the game’s industry since 1995) is in charge of bringing Dogamí to life in-game. To do this, a free-roaming zone was constructed, one in which players will enjoy full interaction with their Dogamí. Christophe demonstrates this sandbox during a mini-interview.
Overall, DOGAMÍ Academy, is advancing very well and we are on target to launch the first iteration in Q4, 2023. We recommend you subscribe to our social media channels (below), we’ll be publishing more and more sneak peeks and behind the scene footage on a regular basis.
