From the second drop of Alpha Series 2 Dogamí that sold out in only a couple of days, onboarding a Grammy award-winning music producer to create our game music, to the announcement of our GAP partnership, this really has been a busy couple of months for the DOGAMÍ team!
In this first Community update, you’ll get a rundown of the major news stories straight from the source! You’ll also pick up some extra tidbits from our Dogamers that you might have missed! 😉Let’s dive in.
Alpha Series 2 Sold out 📭
The mint of the Alpha Series 2 Dogamí — 5 brand new breeds for Dogamers to adopt and care for — sold out in only 3 days in 2 sales: the private sale, and a last chance mint (selling out in a mere 14 seconds) enabling lucky participants to pick up remaining pups. Following this 2nd drop, a total of 5286 holders was observed.
GAP X DOGAMÍ 🐶
Whilst our fellow dogamers waited patiently to unbox, we had the pleasure of announcing our partnership with GAP through the internationally renowned L’Officiel Magazine. 🌍 Set to launch this month (July 2022), Dogamers will be able to acquire 12,000 NFT wearables specially designed for their Dogamí. Transform your pouch into a fashionista whilst upping his stats! We’ll provide more info on this very shortly!
The Melodies of Michael Malih 🎶
Madonna, Black Coffee, Anitta… Do these names sound familiar? Well, June took a rather melodious turn as we onboarded 2022 Grammy award-winning music producer Michael Malih to orchestrate our in-game atmospheric music. The Petaverse never sounded so good!

Unboxing Event 👀 & Community Tools 🧐
The reveal event began on 22 June (something about that number😉) and this time we were able to unbox faster.
As dogamers began to reveal different rarities, a few of our Discord members asked whether there was a tool to follow the statistics. Luckily such a tool exists — created by one of the community members themselves!
ℹ️ Whilst this is not an official app from the DOGAMÍ team, DogaReveal helpfully categorizes Dogamí by Series and reveal time. For example, say you wanted to see which Series 2 Diamonds had been unboxed, you’d simply click the Series 2 button from the top menu followed by the Diamond button underneath. All the revealed Diamond Dogs would then appear by order of reveal time. This tool also enables users to see:
- The likelihood of obtaining a particular rarity in that specific series
- Rarity scores
- Gender and reveal request info
Dogamers can also use Dogamistats (another tool) to follow the combined number of boxes revealed and measure the probability of opening a particular rarity tier.
A filter feature exists further down the page much like on our proprietary marketplace.
Renaming feature 💜
Every dog deserves a name and that’s why we introduced the renaming feature following the 1st drop. However, with the series 2 reveal in motion, many of those adopted dogs are still nameless! Connect to the marketplace with your wallet and click the pen button to name yours.
Then simply fill in the following screen:
Gaming Updates 🎮
Our executive game producer Anton is now providing bi-weekly updates to show you how the first iteration of the game is progressing. We’re focusing on delivering the game to our first players in September 2022.
We’ve implemented a new UI, VFX animations when you interact with your dog, changes to the leveling-up system and we’ve fixed some bugs. To read the full breakdown of the updates, head over to our discord server! 🤖
