GM Dogamers! July was a sporting month for us, marked by the release of our long-awaited pet-sitting feature and the exciting DOGALYMPICS event, which ran parallel to the global athletic festivities. We’re still here, still building, and more motivated than ever to create the world’s first token-based entertainment franchise.

Earn $DOGA without owning a Dogamí with Pet-Sitting! 🐕

Our brand-new pet-sitting feature was rolled out last month. Whether you own a Dogamí or not, this feature was designed to unite the community and enhance your experience in the DOGAMÍ ecosystem.

Pet-sitting is perfect for those who love Dogamí but don’t own one yet and it also enables Dogamí holders who don’t have enough time or have got too many to lend them out to willing sitters.

If you don’t own a Dogamí, choose to pet-sit one from the marketplace by using the different filters to find your perfect breed, rarity and rewards split. By competing in PvP races, you’ll share a percentage of the overall $DOGA rewards!

For Dogamí Owners: Time for Doggy Daycare!
Owning multiple Dogamí or having a busy schedule is no longer a challenge. With the pet-sitting feature, list your Dogamí for others to care for and share the rewards.

You can list your Dogamí publicly or choose direct-to-player pet-sitting if you know the sitter in question.

Pet-sitting is off chain, meaning you can pet-sit Tezos or Polygon Dogamí regardless of whether you have a Tezos or Polygon wallet (rewards are still paid out in $DOGA Polygon). Furthermore, you can claim your rewards once a week, ensuring a steady stream of $DOGA! 🚀

Both owners and pet-sitters have full control to end the pet-sitting contract at any time, providing flexibility for both parties and a notification system has also been implemented via email to inform participants when pet-sitting starts and ends.

To continuously improve the feature, we have been in talks with the DOGAMÍ Game Council to get community feedback. 🤗

We announced an upcoming partnership with 021, the venture studio behind Pudgy Penguins, Amazon, Jarritos and many others.

This collaboration will drive our growth beyond Web3 on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram where you’ll soon be able to see snackable content we think you’ll love.

The DOGALYMPICS: A Week of Epic Racing Has Ended! 🏁

A week of intense racing has come to an end and we’d like to celebrate the incredible achievements of all players in the DOGALYMPICS!

From July 29 to August 5th, the community united in the spirit of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games for a week-long event where their Dogamí’s skills were put to the test.

The goal was to race together whilst meeting incrementally higher milestones and unlock the maximum amount of STARS and consumables by completing 350K races.

Seven extra daily PvP events (1 per day) were also introduced, like a triathlon-style one and other single-skill events for players to take part in.

Overall, players reached the 2nd milestone, missing the third one by 19K races. The DOGALYMPICS led to some pretty impressive stats:

Total races completed: 230,243
Total KM covered: 9,912 KM
Total training sessions: 51,427
Total consumables used: 83,946
Total number of Dogamí: 6,076

We decided to offer the rewards from milestone 3 as players had been trying so hard and deserved it! 💜

Kris Penseyres is the New CEO of DOGAMÍ 👑

We are delighted to announce that Kris Penseyres is now the CEO of DOGAMÍ!

“I am profoundly honored to announce my appointment as CEO of Dogamí. This achievement is thanks to our exceptional team and business partners.
