Dogamers, welcome to the 3rd Community update! This monthly update will give you an overview of everything that’s happened over the past 30 days, a Dogamers digest if you like. 🤓

TL;DR 📰

First of all, the Soft Launch has finally landed and our first batch of players have entered the arena to take care of their Dogamí in the new DOGA House app.

We also enabled $DOGA listings and offers on our proprietary marketplace alongside XTZ listings! WOOF! 🐶 The team held an AMA and introduced the new Senior Game Designer.

To celebrate our new 33% APR fixed staking program, we ran a competition and announced the winners and we finally revealed 1/3 of the Golden ticket utilities received in the DOGA Loot packs. Did you get yours?

Lastly, the OGKC Guild was under the Spotlight this month. We took a deep dive to discover more about their members, holdings and raison d’être. LFG!

Soft Launch has arrived 🚀

On 30th November, we finally welcomed the Soft Launch in! Just under 500 players were able to access the new DOGAMÍ app merely hours after the listing on Google Play and the App Store. The DOGA House app is now live!

DOGA House, is a simplified version of the original app. It’s an interactive NFT viewer in which Dogamers do simple actions to take care of their Dogamí to earn $DOGA tokens. It is currently off-chain but the weekly rewards are earned in real $DOGA!

Following the initial Tech Launch phase and a survey we distributed on discord, we received a lot of feedback from the testers and made some important and necessary decisions about the best way to move forwards to create the best web3 game in 2023. We will be able to present a new concept in January. 🔥

All Dogamí holders will be granted access by the end of the year and the team is progressively adding them in batches. 12K Dogamí NFTs will be able to enter before the end of the year.🥳

DOGA HOUSE UPDATES 🏡

👉 Players will all be able to play & interact with their 3D dogs. 🐶
👉 Players will only need to complete one unique action per day, per dog.
👉 Activities don’t have waiting times anymore and players can interact with their Dogamí when and as they wish.
👉 All items are free and they no longer complete several needs

ECONOMY 📈

👉 $DOGA will be airdropped weekly. 💸
👉 The amount depends on how many days the players have taken care of their Dogamí.
👉 To validate a daily visit, players just have to do one activity with their Dogamí.
👉 If players have several Dogamí, an activity must be done with each one.
👉 A new smaller UI element indicates if the daily objective has been achieved.

$DOGA Listing on Marketplace Integrated 🪙

The long-awaited $DOGA listing feature has now been added to the marketplace!

Dogamers can list and purchase Dogamí and accessories in $DOGA!

Just an example — she’s not for sale! Dogamers can now list in $DOGA as well as in XTZ! Marketplace features will continuously be added as we go.

DOGAMÍ AMA 🗣️

The team held their 5th AMA session with our CEO and cofounder Max Stockl, executive game producer Anton Monjon, and Alexandre Buyck, our new Senior Game Designer. Once again, a warm welcome to you Alex!

After a brief retrospective from the last 12 months — 12K NFTs, our first collaborative collection with GAP (12K NFTs accessories), development of the first game iteration — the team confirmed short term plans for the Soft Launch, rebalancing of the gameplay and removal of some repetitive mechanisms.

We also promised some listings, funding news as well as a long-term roadmap (this will be presented in January 2023)!

It’s a great way to engage with our community and we’ll be doing another one shortly. Keep your eyes (ears) peeled. 👀

DOGA DAY RAFFLE RESULTS 🏆

As alluded to in the intro, the Marketplace’s recent integration of the fixed staking program was accompanied by a random draw of tezos wallet addresses from stakers. And the stakes really were high with a top prize of 3,333 XTZ! 🤯

Discord community member c4rl#6470 won first prize! Congratz! 🎉 A variety of Alpha Series 1 & 2 boxes were up for grabs as well as 100 Soft Launch spots!

This competition was announced on 22nd of the previous month — our famous DOGA DAY. Moving forwards, we’ll be introducing some community mechanisms allowing members to choose what happens on this day from now on. More on this soon. 🏦

Golden Ticket Utility 🎟️

100 Lucky Dogamers received a Golden Ticket with their DOGA Loot packs and this month they discovered the first of three benefits!

Golden ticket holders got early access to the Soft Launch that started on 30th November! They can start earning $DOGA once they’ve downloaded the app! Congratulations to everyone who received one in their loot pack!

OGKC guild to take the Spotlight! ⚡️

The OG Kennel club or OGKC for short, is the first international DOGAMÍ guild! 🌎

Their goal is to:

Unite the world of Dogamers and pioneer our way into the Petaverse. We gather ideas and philosophies from around the globe to help steer the direction of the groundbreaking game of Dogami.

With more than 70 members (of which 30 are whales 🐳) of 25 nationalities, the club has gathered more than 500 Dogamí under one big family! We are super proud to have them as part of the community and having exchanged with them on numerous occasions, we can confirm that they really are a great pack!
