Hello, Dogamers!!! Aaaaanndddd we’re back with the 5th Community Update! How did January happen so fast? 2023 is moving quickly — it’s a good thing we’ve got A LOT of cool stuff to announce in the coming quarters and if you followed our DOGANOTE presentation on 31st January, you’d already know that!
Before we run through the TL;DR of this month, Happy belated Lunar New Year! The next year of the Dog is 2030, but we think it’s this year! 🧧
TL;DR
Let’s summarise a dogamer’s January! 🚀 First and foremost, we held our DOGANOTE presentation during which we presented the company verticals, game process/progress, and what’s coming next (plus a few little extra surprises).
We also launched a new staking program at 66% APR. Stakers need to lock up their $DOGA for 6 months. Extra $DOGA never felt so good!
As you’re aware, the DOGA Council’s mandate started at the beginning of the year and they have chosen their ring designs. 22 Rings (1 for each member) have now been received! 💍 Discover their SBTs in this update.
The global Crew3 leaderboard winners were announced. They will receive DOGA wearables and tokens for their hard work. GG questers! ⚔️
Finally, weekly airdrop rewards were also slightly rebalanced to align more with the whitepaper, and token distribution schedule. Ready? Let’s dive in! 🤿
DOGANOTE 🎤
Our Co-Founder and CBO Kris Penseyres, held our first keynote on 31st January. The long-awaited DOGANOTE was an occasion for the team to present the ecosystem, DOGAMÍ as a 3.0 entertainment company and a global brand.
Dogamers discovered 7 verticals of expansion (Comic books, Metaverse interoperability, toys and collectibles, DOGA wear, partnerships, music, and TV & Film) that we will harness to expand into a cross-media brand.
The DOGAMÍ backstory and mythology will be unveiled to present and future audiences through:
- DOGAMÍ: Companions of Earth (our first comic book)
- DOGAMÍ: Portals initiative (an initiative to explore the Metaverse with Dogamí NFTs)
- DOGAMÍ: Academy (the long-awaited new game that is currently in development)

As a reminder, we’re keeping future production details confidential. The DOGA Council will provide their insight into anything we do show and we’ll only unveil fully polished assets when they’re ready for public showcase.
66% APR Fixed Staking Program 💱
The title pretty much sums it up! As part of the development of the functions and features of our marketplace offerings, we introduced a third staking program that sits alongside a flexible rate at 8% APR, and a fixed 33% APR.
Users of the platform wishing to benefit from the 66% rate will be required to lock up their $DOGA for 6 months. To celebrate the launch of this new program, we accompanied it with a staking competition. The prize? 250,000 $DOGA split between 50 winners selected randomly, providing they have staked at least 5000 $DOGA on the new rate.

DOGA COUNCIL RING 1 DESIGN 💍
The DOGA Council chose their design for their ring! This ring marks the 6-month mandate of the council.
This SBT (a non-transferable token) will remain in the Councillor’s wallet and was sent as a token of appreciation for their time in the DOGA Council.
REWARDS REBALANCING ⚖️
As you know, the current airdrops community members receive are based on their daily activities in the DOGA House app. Tuesday’s airdrop was altered this week and will be for the weeks moving forwards. As originally planned with the DOGA House app, we slightly reduced the pool allocated to players.
When the DOGA House app was launched, the initial low monthly cashbook pool was compensated with an increase in the rewards. We have now reverted to the original plan in line with the whitepaper to distribute 2M $DOGA per month.
Airdrops may change though! Keep your eyes peeled as something else is coming very shortly! 👀
CREW 3 GLOBAL LEADERBOARD ️⚔️
The most adventurous dogamers took part in our Crew3 sprints last year to undertake quests and spread some DOGA DOGA love. 💜
Four sprints later, the final leaderboard was decided. We rewarded the top 17 places with $DOGA, and some DOGAMÍ wearables! Our questers were so engaged that 11 people were tied for first place!
A huge round of applause for our champions! It was not easy to get to the top of the leaderboard with roughly 450 quests to complete!
