Welcome to DOGAMÍ Academy, the ultimate Web3 gaming experience where your Dogamí compete in thrilling challenges, levels up, and earns $DOGA rewards! Whether you’re a new player or a seasoned trainer, this guide will walk you through everything you need to know but first of all, what are Dogamí? 🐶
Dogamí are mystical, power-infused dogs from a celestial realm. There are currently 24 different breeds, each with a unique set of skills and attributes. Their physical and non-physical traits determine access to specific events and content within the game, making every Dogamí a one-of-a-kind.

Your Dogamí compete in races featuring pools, hurdles, beams, and other challenges, testing six key skills: velocity, swim, jump, balance, might, and instinct. While the races themselves are automated, strategy is key — you must prepare wisely, selecting the best combination of Active and Passive Powers, Relics and Consumables and activate them at the right moment to gain an edge over your rivals, climb the leaderboard and earn $DOGA!
Victory isn’t just about speed — it’s about precision, preparation, and mastery. Sometimes, the difference between winning and losing is just a fraction of a second.

How to Play 🎮
- Your first step is to adopt a Dogamí, as a multi-chain game, they live on 3 different blockchains: Tezos, Polygon and Abstract. Create an account directly on the DOGAMÍ website and associate your wallet.
- Download the game (whilst it works on most devices, you can check your device compatible through this link).

When you open the game for the first time, you’ll create an account and choose your free Iron Dogamí. Iron Dogamí are a class of non-NFT companions in DOGAMÍ Academy that sit alongside your Dogamí. Play with them to farm resources to level up your true virtual companions!
Choose their look (or generate them randomly) and give them a name!
How to Link Your Wallet(s) ⛓
If you purchased a Dogamí from one of the marketplaces named above, want to keep your level progress, and/or save your progress as you advance through a recently purchased Battle Pass, you’ll need to link your wallet on the DOGAMÍ Website to make sure your Dogamí are attached to your account. ✅
- Go to https://dogami.com/ and login with your email (the same one as the one you use to log into the game)
- You’ll receive a magic link to your email address ✨
- Once you’re logged in, go to Menu -> Settings -> Wallets
- Link the wallet(s) that you have your Dogamí on (keep reading for a more detailed explanation).
Linking a Polygon Wallet
- Simply Click Associate a Polygon Wallet
- You will be presented with a few options, we will use MetaMask here.
3. You will be asked to confirm your connection — click connect
You’ll then see that your wallet is connected:
Linking an Abstract Global Wallet
If you do not have an Abstract Global Wallet, you’ll first need to create one from https://www.abs.xyz/ by first clicking “enter portal” in the top-right and then choosing one of the options presented to you below.
In this example we’ll choose “Login with Wallet” and then “MetaMask”. You will be prompted to connect and confirm.
You’ll need to link your AGW wallet on the DOGAMÍ Marketplace. Here’s how to do that:
- Go to Menu -> Settings -> Wallets and click “First Connect to Abstract”
- On the popup. Click “ABSTRACT”.
3. A second popup will appear, choose MetaMask then connect, confirm and approve the transaction.
4. Click “Associate an Abstract Wallet” to “sign and continue”. You will now see your Abstract wallet connected on the DOGAMÍ Marketplace
ℹ️ Please note that at present, associating your Abstract Wallet only works on Desktop, this feature is NOT currently functional on mobile.
Once you’ve linked your wallet, you should be able to see your Dogamí on the “Collections” tab on the Marketplace. If you do not see your Dogamí NFTs having linked an Abstract Wallet, linking a Polygon wallet (even if it’s empty) normally works.
You can see which Dogamí is on which blockchain in the corner of each of the NFTs. If you have a unboxed Dogamí, you will be able to reveal it from the DOGAMÍ website directly.
Game Overview 🎮
This is what you’ll see on the main screen in DOGAMÍ Academy:
We’ll need to understand a bit more about your Dogamí, the game’s resources and other features before we race.
Each Dogamí is unique and defined by several traits:
- Rarity: Star, Diamond, Gold, Silver, Bronze (NFTs) & Iron (Non-NFT)
- Generation: Alpha or Gamma
- Sex: Male or Female
- Skills: 6 attributes — Velocity, Swim, Jump, Balance, Might, Instinct
- Skill Ranks: Each skill above is ranked from S (highest) to E (lowest), determined by a the breed, rarity and also some randomisation.

Each Dogamí has a level which represents the overall progress of the Dogamí (from 1 to 50). Dogamí earn experience points (XP) at the end of each race. Once the experience bar is full, your Dogamí reaches the next level. At each new level, the skills of the Dogamí increase, the training limit is extended, and some new Powers or Power upgrades are unlocked.
- Powers: Each Dogamí has 8 Active and 8 Passive (2 of each can be used in races)
- Personality: 30 unique traits affecting training
Active and Passive Powers 💎
Dogamí possess Active and Passive Powers, which enhance performance in races. They are represented by Power stones with different variants. They act on a Dogamí skills during races manually or in the background.
Passive Powers will activate and deactivate themselves depending on their effects on the race, while Active Powers must be activated by tapping a button (once per race only). By activating the Powers that match the skill of the obstacle, it’s possible to increase the speed of your Dogamí and get ahead of your competitors.
Relics 🪙
Relics are equippable items that provide unique bonuses or strategic advantages in races but over shorter times. You must carefully select Relics alongside Powers to maximize your Dogamí’s potential in a race. There are 6 in total that correspond to each of 6 Dogamí skills. You can activate Relics twice in 2 short bursts.
In-Game Currencies 🪙
There are 3 types of in-game currencies in DOGAMÍ Academy:
🟣 STARS are earned almost anywhere in-game but mainly in races. Use them to get basic consumables, pay for training, PvP events and Power upgrades.
🟡 NUBIX is the premium game currency. Earn it by finishing high up in the leaderboards. Use NUBIX to buy powerful consumables, loot boxes or STARS packs.
🟢 COSMO is the off-chain version of $DOGA that’s awarded in PvP events. Players can convert them into NUBIX or $DOGA.
Let’s see how we can use these in the game in the basic game loop:
PvE Races to Farm Resources 🎮
PvE races are played on a random track against bots of the same level as the participating Dogamí. They enable you to farm resources, materials, earn battle points and XP to level up your Dogamí. You require energy to play. Let’s go!
- Select your Iron (or regular) Dogamí
- Tap the play button to see the race preview screen. It indicates the track composition at the top and which skills of your Dogamí are required.
It will also show a field for Powers, Relics, Passive Powers and consumables. (Some only unlock at certain levels).
3. Choose a Power and a Relic if they match one of the colors on the track preview. Here the Antelope Power has been selected (for Yellow Velocity sections) and the orange Jump Relic for the big orange segment at the end of the race.
Tap Start to play. A countdown will begin (and an option for “Autoplay” which automatically activates your Powers and Relics at the best times for you).
Markers on the racetrack let you know when to activate your Powers or Relics, but make sure the color matches.
The end screen shows your race position where you win resources:
- STARS to buy consumables, train, PvP, and Power upgrades, Materials to upgrade Powers and Battle Points when you activate the seasonal Battle Passes to claim loot, NFTs and more! 👀
By racing in PvE races, you also gain XP which helps you increase your Dogamí’s Level and unlock new Powers to be more competitive.
Improve Your Dogamí with Training 💪
Training enables you to enhance the skills of your choice and specialize your Dogamí in one or more of them to make them more powerful. You need STARS and energy for training. They are trained from the main hub:
Before you train, understand what skills your Dogamí has from the button next to play:
Each skill is ranked from S (the best) to E (the worst). You choose how you train your Dogamí — try to make them an all rounder or specialise in just a few.
Dogamí breeds have skill profiles. For example, the Chow Chow excels in Might but is a naturally slow in Velocity whereas the Welsh Corgi is an instinctual breed but a terrible jumper. See all breed profiles here.
Our Iron Dogamí’s has good Balance and Velocity. Let’s train Balance.
- Tap a skill to train. You’ll see the possible results and the probability of getting 1-5 stars as well as the corresponding skill points (SP) you’ll earn.
- Choose a duration. Longer training can results in more SP.
A Dogamí’s Personality is associated with increased Training focus on one or more skills. Will you get lucky? - Equip a Consumable to increase Training focus (+ button) and buy in STARS or NUBIX.
Training is AFK (away from keyboard) so you can leave your Dogamí to level up while the app is closed. You can only train 1 skill at a time.
Level-Up Your Powers 💪
Alongside the training of your Dogami’s skills, you can upgrade their Powers so they are more powerful in-game by collecting enough STARS and Materials.
- Tap the DOGAMÍ info button
- Powers that are upgradeable are identifiable with a pink dot 🟣
- Choose a Power to upgrade and tap the upgrade button
If you don’t have enough materials you will not be able to upgrade your Powers.
Let’s take a look at the other main features of DOGAMÍ Academy.
The Shop 🛍
You’ll use the shop for all of your in-game currency purchases like NUBIX and STARS, to open your daily FREE loot box (a notification will appear on the home screen for you to visit the shop), pick up training and racing consumables and grab new Battle Passes when the season begins!
Purina DOGASNAX give your Dogamí a training bonus:
- DOGASNAX LITE FOCUS offers a +2 Focus
- DOGASNAX MID FOCUS offers a +4 Focus
- DOGASNAX MAXI FOCUS offers a +8 Focus
Time savers multiply the energy used by your Dogamí in PvE but also multiplies the farmed resources. There are 2X, 3X and 4X reward boosters.
You can also give your Dogamí temporary skill boosts in races by equiping mystical fruit in the race prep screen. 12 different fruit give boosts for each of the 6 skills:
- +10% boost consumables (Hurryberry, Aquastar, Manghop, Lilybrium, Smakiwi and Mystifig).
- +20% boost consumables that are more powerful (Velocitrus, Sealight, Jumpkin, Zenvine, Powtaya and Orchidoga).
Everything is available in the shop!
The Inventory 📕
Players use the Inventory to manage all their essential items for their companions. The inventory is divided into four categories:
- Consumables: items providing boosts, energy and training bonuses,
- Materials: for crafting and upgrading Powers. 7 types exist (velocity, swim, jump, balance, might, instinct and a special one) with 3 rarities (common, uncommon and rare).
- Relics: which offer powerful but short in-game boosts
- Cosmetics: Store all NFT and non-NFT cosmetics to personalize Dogami
PvP Events — Let’s Race and Earn $DOGA ⚔️
PvP pits your Dogamí against other players in events that last 24 hours. Your finishing position in the overall leaderboard is not final until the event ends (you can race multiple times).
STAR and energy are required to enter events, and each one has a different prize pool.
Iron Dogamí can win NUBIX and STARS in Classic Time trials, regular Dogamí can win $DOGA in Exclusive time trials. You have to have at least a Level 10 Dogamí to to take part.
- Tap “events” and choose one
- 3 Trials will be be displayed, we’ll choose Grand Trial #4
3. Prepare the race like in PvE mode (note that we’re using a higher level Dogamí here, everything is unlocked). To understand and strategise better, you can find some videos at the bottom of this tutorial.
- Equip up to 2 powers, pick a Relic, choose your Passive Powers and a consumable:
When you finish the race, your Dogamí will appear on the leaderboard.
Positions are final when the races are over (there’s a timer on the race tile) and you can check your results from the home screen bell icon to see your prizes.
As previously mentioned, your Iron Dogamí can also take part in daily PvP trials. They work in the same way as the $DOGA PvP events but players earn NUBIX and STARS.
How to Claim $DOGA? 🤔
You can swap your COSMO winnings directly on the DOGAMÍ Marketplace for $DOGA once a week (the minimum claim is 20 $DOGA).

COSMO can be redeemed on a 1:1 ratio against $DOGA by connecting a Polygon wallet only.
Earn Extra Loot with Missions and the Battle Pass ⚔️
The DOGAMÍ Academy Battle Pass is your key to unlocking exclusive in-game rewards each Season. Every Season lasts between 1–2 months and brings a brand-new Battle Pass filled with loot, cosmetics and NFT that players earn as they progress.
The Battle Pass consists of 50 Levels, separate from your Dogamí’s level. To advance, you need Battle Points, which are earned by completing daily and weekly missions — challenges that test your skills and dedication. The harder the mission, the more points you’ll earn!
Every Season offers two paths:
- Free Pass — Available to all players, with a set of rewards.
- Premium Pass — Unlocks superior rewards and can be purchased in-app from the DOGAMÍ Marketplace (buying in $DOGA on the marketplace enables players to unlock exclusive NFT cosmetic drops like Skins, collars, auras and more to let you personalize your Dogamí with unique designs).
Seasons are time-limited, so be sure to claim your rewards before they expire.
