WE’RE REINFORCING $DOGA — OUR 4-PILLAR ACTION PLAN 🚀
July was a big month, and what better way to start than with a recap of how we plan to reinforce the value of $DOGA? 📈
In a letter to the community, we detailed 4 pillars that will enable us to significantly increase the strength of the $DOGA token that lies at the heart of the ecosystem. These are:
- Halving monthly inflation with various mechanisms (changes to distribution, rewards, staking programs and supplier payments).
- Boosting $DOGA accessibility with CEX listings and bridge development enabling users to acquire $DOGA on EVM-compatible chains.
- Maximising token utility through the implementation of a $DOGA-centric ecosystem, creating a virtuous circle where more users = more value, and incentivising gamers to use $DOGA to buy STAR.
- Evangelizing $DOGA to Web2 and Web3 audiences.

SPECIAL $DOGA TOKEN AMA 🎙️️
To accompany the release of our 4-Pillar plan, we held a $DOGA-focused AMA.
We hosted a hybrid AMA (ask me anything) with pre-prepared questions but we also took some live from the floor.
Topics such as token supply, investor lock-up conditions, the market in general, future Ethereum DEX integration, and how that can help future listings, as well as holder/volume targets for Q4 were discussed.

DOGAMÍ ACADEMY PLAYTESTS ARE OPEN 🕹️
We were very excited to open the first playtest session for DOGAMÍ Academy which will be held near the end of August (exact date TBD).
40 spots were up for grabs (22 of which were secured for DOGA Council members). The distribution of spots was as follows:
- DOGA Council: 22 spots
- Guild Members: 6 spots (1 elected member from each Guild)
- Whales: 3 spots go to Dogamí whales (those who have more than 7 Dogamí)
- Diamond holders: 3 spots (the few Dogamers who have Diamond Dogamí can try to get a spot)
- Regular (bronze/silver/gold) holders: 6 spots for these guys
All users were invited to complete a form and assigned roles on our Discord once we checked their wallets. Once those users joined specific channels, it was time for Discord bots to decide through giveaways (that way it’s fair and square). 🤖
All 40 spots have now been assigned. We will be reaching out to the winners for the next steps shortly!
THE SECOND DOGA COUNCIL IS NOW ELECTED 🗳️
We were delighted to welcome the second DOGA Council this July! Many applications were received, and after a shortlist by the team, candidates were voted by the community!
As a reminder, the DOGA Council is reelected every 6 months. Being part of the council means:
- Helping shape the future of $DOGA
- Helping make strategic decisions
- Getting insider information ahead of everyone else
After 3 days of voting, the council was decided!
- 6 GUILD LEADERS (1 from each Guild: Friand, Btoven, Svora, AlphaDOGz, OMGOD and OGKC)
- 1 Moderator
- 2 $DOGA Whales
- 4 Whales
- 3 Diamond holders
- 2 Gold holders
- 2 Silver holders
- 2 Bronze holders

PURINA PROGRAM DEEP-DIVE 🐶
As most of you know, DOGAMÍ was one of seven winners of Purina’s 2023 Unleashed program. We recently published an article about the program and the kind of metrics we assessed to gauge the interest of our community members for our DOGASNAX physical and digital treat.
We also shared a few images of what this might look like in the future.

NEW MARKETING RECRUIT 🦸
We’re delighted to welcome Vincent Soave, who joins DOGAMÍ’s marketing team as Head of Social Media!
Vincent is a huge gamer owning over 400 games on many different consoles, and he also comes from a family of influencers with approx 3 million subscribers in total today!
He has a wealth of experience in gaming, social media, and content creation having previously worked at Webedia, a renowned talent agency where he accompanied some of the largest TikTokers in France! 🥖
He also held a previous position at Splashr, where he worked with clients in Web 2 and Web3 to help them with their video strategy and short content. We’re looking forward to growing DOGAMÍ with him! 🚀
NEW MARKET MAKER, UPDATED TERMS & CONDITIONS ✨
Our CEO Max published a couple of important announcements in July. We invite you to join our Discord if you missed them.
First off, DOGAMÍ signed with a new Market maker. This one works with The Sandbox and Axie Infinity, so we’re very happy we could find an agreement with them. For more info on the intricacies and the purpose of crypto market making, check out this article.
The more blockchain-savvy amongst you may have seen some major movement of $DOGA tokens in July too:
1️⃣ The first movement (~20M tokens) was for our new market maker who will use them to maintain a healthy spread and increased depth (this new partner manages the order books). Dogamers should not be surprised if part of those tokens gets deposited into Bitmart & Gate.io.
2️⃣ The second, is more technical in nature, but very important: we will shift our token reserve (~600M DOGA token) to a new multisig wallet. This step helps us to improve the security & usability of the reserve. The API endpoint that shows the circulating supply will be changed, and Coinmarketcap as well as Coingecko have been informed about this step.

Finally, we also made some changes to our Terms & Conditions, including our Staking Terms and Cookie/Privacy Policy (see the above link).
